April 14th, 2006: Last weekend was a changein pace for the Ohio State Buckeyes, they went into the NCAA Championships one of the favorite teams and ended with watching the team competition from the bleachers as they placed 4th in the qualifying sessions. As for Willie as an individual he made it to event finals where he placed 2nd on the high bar with a score of 9.687. The season is now over and the buckeyes are back in the gym gearing up for next years season!

March 28th, 2006: This past weekend was the 2006 Big Ten Championships. After a winning season, Ohio State went on to take the Big Ten Championship crown! Willie went on to take a title of his own as he scored a 9.800 on the high bar to win the event. He placed fourth on parallel bars with an 8.950, and 8th on pommel horse with an 8.000. Willie and the buckeyes will compete in their final meet of the season at the 2006 NCAA Championships in a week and a half. Good Luck!

April 16th, 2005: Two weeks ago Ohio State went out and claimed the Big Ten Championship, following that they went to the NCAA Championships last weekend, where they were hoping to bring home the title, although were edged out by Oklahoma and placed second. Willie went onto finals in the high bar where he finished 7th with a score of 8.9. Congrats to Willie on an AWESOME NCAA Season, records were broken and titles were won

March 7th, 2005: This weekend OSU took on Oklahoma University, with a score of 222.825-222.675 Oklahoma just barerly beat OSU. With a 9.85, Willie was Ohio States lone winner of the night as he won the high bar event final! Congrats on a great meet Willie!

January 30th, 2005: With a first place ranking going into this weekends meet, Ohio State was hoping to win against number 2 ranked University of Illinois. After last weekends new school record on rings set by Willie (9.900), OSU was looking to Willie to help out. He came through on pommel horse with a 9.675 to win the event. Although the team results didn't come out exactly like OSU had planned, they'd take what they got as they tied Illinois with a score of 223.4 each. Congrats to the team on an awesome meet and to Willie on his school record from last weekend.

January 16th, 2005: Ohio State traveled to University of Minnesota this weekend. Willie competed three events. He scored an 8.400 on the pommel horse; 9.000 on the parallel bars; and a 9.200 on the high bar! Congrats on a great meet Willie.

January 9th, 2005: The official start to NCAA Season began yesterday with the Windy City Invite. OSU finished in second place, where Willie also finished 3rd on high bar and 6th all around! OSU's next meet will be next Saturday against Minnesota!

December 7th, 2004: This weekend OSU kicked off their competition season with the Co-Ed Meet where ten members of the men's and womens team compete for the title of Co-Ed champions. Willie and his partner Maalika Moore placed second in the competition with a combind score of 55.650. Their next meet is the Varsity Intersquad on the 17th of December.

August 5th, 2004: Willie and his OSU Teammates are at International Gymnastics Camp this week and next week to help coach younger gymnasts! Willie also recently did an interview for a new website, check it out at www.menscollegegym.net.

June 3rd, 2004: Willie would like to give a shoutout to his former teammate Bryan Del Castillo who won Junior Class 2 National Championships yesterday in Nashville, TN! He also recently won the class two Junior Olympic title as well! Congrats Bryan!

April 4th, 2004: This weekend, OSU competed at the NCAA Championships, after a rough start friday night, they came back saturday night to place . On saturday night Willie contributed scores of 9.175 and 9.300 to the pommel horse and high bar line up for OSU. On saturday night OSU placed 4th overall behind Penn State, Oklahoma, and Illinois. Willie scored an 8.900 on pommel horse, 8.600 on rings and parallel bars, and a 9.500 on high bar, where he placed tenth, although he just missed advancing into the finals. Congrats on a great freshman season Willie!
